Danson is a Partner in the Litigation Division at JP Advocates LLP, ensuring high-quality, outcomes-focused service for our clients by taking a firm but pragmatic approach to litigation.

An experienced litigator, Danson specializes in all aspects of litigation and has been involved in a number of complex and high-value claims in Civil, Commercial, Constitutional & Environmental law litigation. Danson is equally keen on complex and high-value commercial litigation with a particular emphasis on financial, banking, and securities litigation. His expertise ranges from representing clients in arbitral proceedings, the Court of Appeal, the High Court and the Magistrates’ courts as well as specialist tribunals including the Public Procurement Administrative Review Board and the Business Premises Rent Tribunal. He has wide experience in representing corporate clients on Labour and Employment related cases and claims arising from industrial accidents.

Before joining the Firm, Danson spent two years at the helm of the litigation department at Karanja Njenga & Company Advocates and previously two years at KN Law LLP where he was an Associate.

A number of cases for which Danson has acted have been reported in the Kenya Law Reports.

Outside of work, Danson has a keen interest in soccer and cycling.
